Oris is an established manufacturer of Swiss luxury watches. The company was founded in 1904 by Paul Cattin and Georges Christian, who named the brand after the river and valley of the same name in Switzerland. Initially, 24 workers worked for them, and 7 years later their staff reached over 300 people. In a short time, the brand became one of the largest employers in the area. Oris quickly gained the trust of customers and their models became extremely popular in England and later in all the English colonies and South America. After adding bracelets to their pocket watches, they turn them into completely manual models of a new generation. In 1952, the 601 movement was launched, which is extremely popular to this day. In 1991, the complex movement 581 was released, which combines moon phases, day of the week, date and a second time zone. Over time, the company focused on the production of designer watches. Among their most famous limited series are Lous Armstrong, BMW WilliamsF1 Team and TT1.

To this day, Oris is one of the leading Swiss manufacturers of luxury watches, which are distinguished by exceptional design, automatic movement and practical functions.
