Handcrafted Icon of Saint Mina

Description

Give the gift of faith, spiritual strength, and blessings with this handcrafted copper icon of Saint Mina of Cotyaeum, one of the most revered saints in Orthodox Christianity, known as the protector of families, homes, and those seeking support and hope.

Carefully crafted with attention to every detail, this impressive icon is an artistic reproduction of a medieval Orthodox icon. The image of the saint is rendered on a sheet of pure copper, mounted on a sturdy limewood board finished in an elegant walnut stain. The warm copper tones blend beautifully with the natural charm of the wood, giving the icon a dignified appearance and making it a striking addition to any home, office, or prayer space.

Saint Mina the Great Martyr lived during the 3rd and 4th centuries. Born in Egypt, he served as a soldier before embracing the Christian faith and choosing a life of solitude in the desert. Because of his unwavering devotion to God, he suffered a martyr's death. To this day, he is venerated with great love and reverence.

In Orthodox Christian tradition, Saint Mina is revered as the protector of families, homes, and those in need of help and support. The faithful pray to him for health, family harmony, prosperity, and protection while travelling. He is also venerated as the patron saint of single women, orphans, the homeless, women who long for children, as well as doctors, healers, and folk practitioners.

The image of Saint Mina conveys a message of faith, trust, and hope. This icon is a wonderful choice for anyone wishing to bring spiritual warmth into their home and preserve a cherished Christian tradition.
